About the position

Digital Home Designs is seeking a lead technician to manage and oversee the installation of home electronics in high-end custom and semi-custom homes. The role involves leading a team of 2-3 technicians on large-scale projects, ensuring high standards of work and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home electronics installation and automation programming, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the installation of home electronics in high-end custom and semi-custom homes.
• Lead a team of 2-3 technicians on large-scale projects.
• Ensure adherence to high standards of work and customer satisfaction.
• Delegate tasks effectively to team members and manage on-site time efficiently.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of advanced signal flow and project design.
• Set up and configure network systems as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in home electronics installation.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in home automation programming (Control4 preferred but not required).
• Understanding of advanced signal flow and project design.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in network setup (Araknis Gear/OVRC preferred).
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Control4 home automation programming.
• Familiarity with Araknis Gear/OVRC for network setup.
