About the position
The Audio Video Field Technician at Sound Minds is responsible for the installation, programming, and service/repair support of audio and video systems, home automation, and networking equipment. This full-time position requires a strong technical background and customer service skills to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of audio and video systems, automation systems, and security cameras.
- Provide programming and service/repair support to customers.
- Install basic AV and IT related infrastructure, including cabling and connectors.
- Operate and service various AV equipment and systems.
- Interact with clients in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in audio/video installation and programming.
- Working knowledge of home theater, home automation, distributed audio, and system integration techniques.
- Strong computer and networking knowledge.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to the component level.
- A clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate power tools such as hammer drills.
