About the position

The Audio Video Quality Assurance Engineer at Bridges System Integration (Bridges SI) plays a crucial role in enhancing collaboration technology for enterprise clients in government and corporate sectors. This position involves performing quality assurance functions, including system commissioning, equipment testing, and training other departments on standards and test equipment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to multitask, and possess a strong understanding of client needs to effectively address technology challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house and on-site system commissioning.
• Conduct equipment test and evaluation.
• Train other departments on standards and test equipment.
• Provide initiative, vision, and teamwork as part of the Quality Assurance team.
• Commission and document complex AV systems.
• Provide phone support to Field Technicians.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of direct or related experience in the AV integration industry.
• Advanced understanding of AV systems and signal flow.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting AV systems.
• Knowledge of lighting, acoustics, and millwork.
• Familiarity with structural engineering practices such as floor, wall, and ceiling support.
• Holds industry-recognized certifications and specialized manufacturer certifications.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and in the Herndon, VA office.
