We are currently seeking an Audio-Visual Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal as it involves working closely with customers, account managers, project managers, and a team of technicians to design comprehensive audiovisual solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. The Design Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise that supports the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions. In this position, you will engage in research and analysis of the capabilities of available hardware and software options, ensuring that the solutions we provide are not only innovative but also effective. You will design audiovisual systems that integrate various hardware and software components into a cohesive system, ensuring that they meet the unique requirements of each customer. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality service and solutions that enhance their audiovisual experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
• Research and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options.
• Design audiovisual systems of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system and that meet customer's specific needs.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems.
• Knowledgeable of CAD Software and drawings.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in a technology or construction field preferred.
• Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
• CTS-D and/or CTS certifications are a plus. Any other industry-related training or certifications are also a plus (e.g., Crestron, AutoCAD, Biamp, Extron, QSC, etc.).
