About the position

KeyLogic is seeking an Audio/Visual Engineer with a background in audio/video systems and configurations to support a major national laboratory. The Audio/Visual team works to design, install, maintain, and support enterprise video collaboration and conference rooms, which provide secure and reliable video and audio conferencing with screen-sharing capabilities in both classified and unclassified environments. This includes video production and editing support in both classified and unclassified environments and provide onsite Auditorium live event support. In addition, the team installs hardware and software to conference rooms across the laboratory. This role would serve as a solution architect for the A/V team focusing on support for Microsoft Teams and Crestron video conferencing technology.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise to design, troubleshoot, install, and integrate video and audio for Microsoft Teams video conference rooms
  • Responsible for Crestron endpoint programming and Microsoft Teams integration
  • Manage and troubleshoot distributed systems to configure and maintain operation software via Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Microsoft Intune
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to technicians for installation and maintenance videoconference rooms and auditoriums
  • Collaborate with peers and enterprise architects to implement complex technical solutions
  • Ensure systems meet security requirements and maintain asset lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-year relevant experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance
  • Crestron and/or JavaScript control system programming
  • Experience with system administration of windows servers and workstations
  • Experience managing physical and virtual machines
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations with experience in audio/visual environments and Crestron videoconference equipment
  • Ability to install, update, and maintain system operating systems and application software
  • Experience troubleshooting network issues
  • Knowledge of security hardening procedures
  • Willingness to take on challenges and work independently
  • Recommends purchasing hardware and software and coordinates and performs installation
  • Ability to research and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices and/or applicable regulatory changes
  • Auditorium equipment familiarity in a production environment.
