About the position

The Audio Visual Event Specialist at Arthrex, Inc. is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of audio-visual needs for various events. This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure seamless event experiences, focusing on technical solutions and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with internal stakeholders, third-party partners, and vendors for all event-related needs.
  • Conduct site visits and recaps with clients based on their availability.
  • Collaborate with the Event Support team on floor plans, stage design, and scheduling of technicians for third-party events.
  • Act as the main point of contact for on-site execution of third-party events during business hours or in the evening.
  • Oversee load-in and load-out of events.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their AV needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Create quotes and work with Meetings & Events for invoice processing.
  • Guide pre-planning and client deadlines for seamless execution of event details.
  • Attend weekly meetings providing status reports on upcoming and previous events as required.
  • Work within the AV ticket system to keep event tickets updated and current.
  • Triage new in-house event requests with Events leadership.
  • Provide backup support services for in-house events or studio productions.
  • Coordinate offsite event rigging and lighting needs with third-party contractors in collaboration with the Arthrex Exhibit team.
  • Work with the Arthrex Expense team on invoices for third parties and offsite exhibits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7 years of related experience or an Associate degree and 4 years of related experience required.
  • Planning, organizing, and execution of live productions experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with digital audio mixing consoles and knowledge of projection and LED screen equipment are desired.
