About the position

NCR Atleos is seeking an Audio/Visual Executive Support Engineer to join our team at our global headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and troubleshooting of various audio-visual (AV) equipment and systems utilized by our senior executive leaders and their assistants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of AV technologies, including projection systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron control systems, and videoconferencing technologies. The position requires a strong technical understanding of both AV and IT systems, as well as an up-to-date awareness of the latest technologies and their features. In this role, you will perform site surveys to document requirements for engineers and project managers, and provide comprehensive conference and event support. This includes installing, configuring, monitoring, and supporting AV systems during events. You will also coordinate hardware and software repairs, resolve computer system problems, and liaise with the Global Help Desk for any equipment-related issues. The ability to communicate complex technology changes in simple terms is essential, as is the capacity to work effectively under pressure, including the potential for longer hours when necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnosing various AV/VTC and low-voltage systems. You will be expected to operate related AV technologies for events such as Town Halls and video conferences, ensuring a high level of professionalism and technical proficiency at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot AV equipment and systems including projection systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Crestron control systems.
  • Provide technical support for videoconferencing and audio-conferencing technologies.
  • Perform site surveys and document requirements for engineers and project managers.
  • Interact daily with senior executive leaders and their assistants.
  • Install, configure, monitor, and support conference and event AV systems.
  • Coordinate hardware and software repairs and resolve computer system problems.
  • Liaise with the Global Help Desk for equipment-related issues.
  • Explain new technology and complex changes in simple terms to users.
  • Work in high-pressure environments and be available for on-call support.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with C-level executives.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to follow a structured methodology to solve problems.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work late hours and weekends as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical AV certifications such as CTS are a plus.
  • Experience with Webex and Zoom (3 years preferred).
  • Experience operating cameras and video switchers (3 years preferred).
