About the position

CCS Presentation Systems is seeking an Audio-Visual Field Engineer/Crestron Control Systems Programmer to join their team in Tucson, AZ. This role involves interfacing with customers, programming various control systems, and ensuring the successful completion of audio-visual projects. The position is integral to the company's operations, providing support in the installation and maintenance of advanced audio and video systems.

Responsibilities

  • Customer interfacing before, during and after installations are complete
  • Work within the CCS ERP system (Acumatica) & Basecamp to complete all required tasks
  • Program systems using Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSYS, QSYS Designer, ClearOne, and Biamp DSP
  • Accurately maintain and update all project documentation
  • Ensure that the technical aspects of each project are completed successfully and on time
  • Turn a system over to the Project Manager at 100% accuracy and completion

Requirements

  • 1-2 years with A/V system integration design and function
  • 1-2 years with Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, BiAmp, and ClearOne control systems
  • Experience with designing and programming control systems and control system GUI's
  • Experience with C++, Visual Basic and HTML
  • Completed classes in Computer Science, Software Development, or related discipline
  • Strong computer & IT network skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of standard software for DSP set-up, switcher set-up, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and control systems problems
  • Ability to write iOS programs using Ruby, Python, Lua, Scheme, Lisp, Smalltalk, C#, Haskell, ActionScript, JavaScript, C, Objective-C, C++
  • Ability to design and program graphics using the following software: Cold Fusion, Photoshop, HTML, .NET, and C++
  • High degree of organizational and communication skills
  • Detail oriented & team player
