About the position

The Audio Visual Information Specialist at CACI is responsible for enhancing the visual aspects of the company's or client's brand through innovative design and multimedia production. This role involves creating and managing various forms of visual communication, including video, audio, and graphic materials for both internal and external audiences. The specialist will engage in the entire production process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Research, acquire, edit, and produce commercial broadcast-quality video and audio materials for web and traditional media platforms.
  • Identify and select newsworthy events for coverage.
  • Produce scripts, narrations, public service announcements, and spot announcements for radio and television.
  • Acquire and edit still digital images; create photo stories and multi-page documents using advanced layout and design techniques.
  • Prepare sets, including positioning of lights, cameras, sound, and properties, ensuring effective use of special audio and video effects.
  • Edit final video products to ensure continuity and effectiveness of action and dialogue, using industry-standard digital editing software.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with staff in other communications departments.
  • Assist in developing and producing content for new and emerging communication vehicles, such as blogs and online publications.
  • Select associated visual material as necessary and available.
  • Maintain the organization's library of audio and video products.
  • Design, develop, debug, and implement new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on user requirements.
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in audio-visual production.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Understanding of layout and design principles for photographic projects using industry-standard software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end production of professional video and audio materials.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws applicable to visual information production.
  • Experience in designing, integrating, and performing O&M functions to custom IT and communications equipment.
  • Expertise in all phases of the project lifecycle including design, procurement, integration, testing, and deployment.
