About the position

The Audio-Visual Installation Technician III at AVI Systems is responsible for the installation of audio, video, and electronic communication systems. This role involves collaborating with design engineers and project managers to ensure successful project completion within budget and time constraints, while also providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation of audio, video, electronic communications, and presentation systems equipment.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers and Project Managers to plan, integrate, test, and ensure customer acceptance of projects.
• Conduct on-site surveys and resolve any needs or problems that arise during installation.
• Interpret project documentation including system flow diagrams and ensure installation is completed as documented.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the service or installation of audio, video, and/or audiovisual systems.
• Ability to read and understand building construction blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer relation skills.
• Training in electronics and basic computer literacy skills, preferably through education or certification.
• CTS-I Certification preferred.
