About the position

The Audio Visual On Site Support Specialist / Design Engineer at Conference Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise in audio-visual solutions. This role involves working directly with clients to understand their AV needs, designing and implementing video conferencing technology, and ensuring high-quality AV standards in various environments. The ideal candidate will embody CTI's mission of delivering a fantastic customer experience while working collaboratively in a dynamic and creative atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide audio-visual consultation for designing and implementing video conferencing technology.
• Meet with clients to understand specific audiovisual requirements.
• Be the primary point of contact for all audiovisual equipment and videoconference needs.
• Test video conferencing equipment in different environments to enhance A/V standards.
• Assist end users with help and questions about using the technology when required.
• Review and update design standards and documentation as needed.
• Follow the defined ordering process for replenishing conference room equipment supplies.
• Partner with other teams to resolve issues caused by implementation in a large enterprise.
• Assist with Q-SYS programming requirements.
• Provide a suitable short-term solution to audiovisual equipment failures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in audio visual engineering, specifically designing AV signal flows and AV design diagrams.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience/skill level.
• Strong customer service experience is essential.
• Eager to learn and tackle any situation with a positive attitude.
• Experience supporting, implementing, and maintaining video conferences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in live event support and management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
