About the position
The Audio Visual Engineer position involves designing and implementing comprehensive audio-visual solutions tailored to meet customer needs. This role requires collaboration with Account Managers and customers, providing technical expertise in the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual technologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
- Research and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options.
- Design an audiovisual system of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems.
- Knowledgeable of control system programming as well as CAD Software and drawings.
- Maintain positive and effective communication skills.
- Experience in a technology or construction field preferred.
- Must be able to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
- CTS-D and/or CTS certification is preferred, but not required with the right experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Any other key manufacturer certifications are also a plus (Ex: Crestron, BIAMP, QSC, Extron, Shure etc.)
