About the position

A Project Coordinator for A-V Services, Inc. will support the assigned Project Manager in gathering equipment, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects. The successful Project Coordinator will demonstrate the ability to maintain budgets and work schedules, organizing and participating in shareholder meetings while meeting all deadlines. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for evaluating potential problems and technical hitches, developing solutions, and proposing improvements during project meetings. In addition to managing project schedules and team goals, the Project Coordinator will supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track. This includes managing project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored. The role also involves directing project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails. Effective communication with clients is essential to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. The Project Coordinator must adhere to budget constraints by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in AV field installations
  • CTS Certified a plus
  • Computer Skills- Word, Excel, MS Project, Crestron, AMX, etc.
  • Full understanding of audio and video programs

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of project coordination experience (Preferred)
  • 5 years of audio/visual equipment experience (Preferred)
  • 5 years of A/V field installations experience (Preferred)
