About the position

The AV & Event Services Engineer Intern at Exact Sciences will gain hands-on experience in enterprise audio-visual (AV) systems and biotechnology within a real business environment. This role focuses on providing technical support for AV systems, ensuring seamless operation in various meeting and event spaces, and collaborating with event organizers to meet technical requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for audio-visual systems, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV equipment in event spaces.
• Collaborate with event organizers to understand technical requirements and provide support during events, conferences, and meetings.
• Set up and operate AV equipment for presentations, webinars, and live events.
• Act as a problem solver to drive successful completion of assigned tasks.
• Establish positive working relationships with team members, vendors, and internal customers.
• Demonstrate high standards of customer service with a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
• Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with audio-visual systems and technology.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
• Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day.
• Ability to work standing for approximately 50% of a typical working day.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in event planning or coordination.
• Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and technology.
