About The Position

Carle Health is seeking Audiologists to join our Audiology and Hearing Services team, working directly with a great team of Otologists and ENTs in a state-of-the-art Outpatient Services facility in Champaign, Illinois. We offer a full range of comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation services including adult and pediatric evaluation, hearing aid services, cochlear implant and BAHS evaluation and fitting, ototoxic monitoring, vestibular evaluation, auditory evoked potentials, and newborn hearing screening and follow-up. Audiologists may also provide outreach services to our new branch facility at Carle at the Riverfront in Danville, IL, and other regional facilities as needed. Caseload depends on clinical skills, experience, and interest. Supervision, instruction, and evaluation of Audiology graduate students. Opportunities for Continuing education are available onsite and offsite.

Requirements

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology.
• Current Illinois Audiologist license or proof of application for IL licensure.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• 2 years of experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Experience with hearing aids, implantable technology, and balance evaluations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation services in audiology.
• Conduct adult and pediatric evaluations and hearing aid services.
• Perform cochlear implant and BAHS evaluation and fitting.
• Monitor ototoxicity and conduct vestibular evaluations.
• Administer auditory evoked potentials and newborn hearing screenings.
• Provide outreach services to regional facilities as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate Audiology graduate students.
