About The Position
These positions are for the 2025-2026 school year. Under the direction of the Director in the Special Education division, provides complete audiological assessment and services for all children in classes for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing programs. Provides follow-up/re-evaluation for students with identified hearing losses in special education programs located in varied areas in the County. Counsels with parents regarding evaluations, care and use of hearing aids and auditory training strategies. Assists in providing training for staff regarding cochlear implant, care of aides, etc. Itinerant positions based out of Bakersfield, CA.
