The job of Audiologist is done for the purpose/s of managing and providing audiology services in an educational setting for students with hearing difficulties; evaluating student's hearing, listening, and auditory processing; addressing deficits that can affect academic success, communication abilities, and psychosocial well-being; providing habilitation/rehabilitation of communicative problems and instructional services related to hearing impairment; providing technical assistance and follow-up, referrals; and collaborating with other school personnel to ensure a successful learning environment for the hearing-impaired student. This job reports to the Director of Special Services and Building Administrator.
