About the position

The Audiologist position at Elite Health involves providing audio testing services for Veterans under a government contract. This role is designed for 1099 contractors who will conduct evaluations without diagnosing or prescribing, focusing instead on assessing previous issues. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and is a cash-based reimbursement model, allowing audiologists to integrate this work into their existing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audio testing evaluations for Veterans based on VA questionnaires.
• Chart evaluations in a cloud-based EM/DR system.
• Set and manage your own schedule based on availability.
• Provide one-time, non-treatment exams for individual Veterans.
• Utilize a computer for logging information electronically through the Provider Portal System.

Requirements

• Licensed Audiologist with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in conducting audio evaluations.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduling.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and electronic charting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Veterans or in a government contract setting.
• Knowledge of VA procedures and protocols.
