About the position

The Audiovisual Project Manager will oversee the implementation and execution of audio visual integration projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals while adhering to timelines and budgets. This role involves managing project phases, supervising field teams, and maintaining high levels of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Installation department for the local market to ensure all jobs are completed with optimal results in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are provided to internal and external clients by supporting the organization's strategic goals.
  • Manage all phases of AV installations/projects including budgetary requirements.
  • Supervise field teams and motivate, praise, mentor, and coach on performance issues.
  • Manage project scheduling and identify and solve issues that will impact the project and schedule.
  • Provide regular project updates/communication with Clients, Sales, and Operations.
  • Oversee the coordination of metrics/completion/updates of all installation projects.
  • Participate in contract process and project administration when needed/required.
  • Ensure that project deliverables and milestones are met, including close out documentation and punch list items.
  • Attend construction meetings and perform pre-installation site surveys.
  • Maintain and authorize/complete material stock/order.
  • Conduct quality control/check on finished product/projects including testing.
  • Perform post project walkthrough with client communicating system performance to the customer.
  • Assist with product returns and change order process.
  • Help define and work with management on AV installation best practices and refine associated procedures, templates, tools, and documentation.
  • Assure field team is adhering to all safety guidelines, as required by the Company and Customer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of AV installation and field experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing large, high-profile projects and crews.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, account receivables, and payables.
  • Adept at reading blueprints and associated building information.
  • Ability to rapidly understand business objectives and combine them with project management to create effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers across all departments.
  • Understanding of customer needs with excellent communication and follow-through.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with a track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership skills to align, direct, motivate, and grow teams and clients.
  • Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
