About the position

This internship position within PwC's External Audit services offers an opportunity to provide assurance services and business advice to a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large international entities. Interns will engage in various phases of financial statement audits, utilizing the latest technology to enhance corporate governance and the reliability of client information. The role emphasizes the development of leadership skills through the PwC Professional framework, encouraging interns to be curious, innovative, and proactive in their approach to problem-solving and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Support select phases of a financial statement audit.
  • Assist in select projects, demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member.
  • Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
  • Produce high-quality work that adheres to relevant professional standards.
  • Handle, manipulate, and analyze data and information responsibly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • No prior work experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Interest in auditing and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems.
  • Ability to research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters.
