About the position

This internship position within PwC's External Audit services offers an opportunity to provide Assurance services and business advice to a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large international entities. Interns will engage in various audit phases, utilizing the latest technology to enhance corporate governance and the reliability of client information. The role emphasizes the development of problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively while working collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support select phases of a financial statement audit.
• Assist in select projects, demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative while building relationships with team members.
• Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• No prior experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in auditing and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems.
• Ability to research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters.
