About the position

Warner Bros. Discovery is offering multiple Audit internship opportunities located in the NYC area for Summer 2025. Interns will participate in various audit projects, analyze and report findings, collaborate with team members, and present their project findings to the audit team and senior management at the end of the internship. The internships are designed to provide hands-on experience in the media and entertainment business, focusing on internal audit and IT internal audit roles.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Audit Projects: Actively take part in planning and executing various audit assignments.
  • Analyze and Report Findings: Analyze data collected during audits and contribute to comprehensive reports.
  • Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with team members from different departments.
  • Support management in testing, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and reporting upwards.
  • End-of-Internship Presentation: Present project findings and insights to the audit team and senior management.

Requirements

  • Interest in IT auditing, compliance, and risk management (for IT Internal Audit role).
  • Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (for IT Internal Audit role).
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Passion for the entertainment industry and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program.
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older).
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA).
