Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements through the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of the audit.
• Coordinate the planning process and engagement completion.
• Maintain positive client relationships.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Identify and research accounting issues as they arise.
• Participate in administrative and operational functions to contribute to the firm's growth.

Requirements

• 3-6+ years of recent and relevant public accounting audit experience of nonprofit and governmental entities.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Must be a CPA or CPA exam candidate.
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Experience with planning audits and preparing financials for governmental and nonprofit clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, managers, and co-workers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
• Initiative to learn new areas beyond the scope of work.
• Proficient in accounting, spreadsheet, word processing, and database software.
• Experience with 990s is a plus.
