About the position

We are looking for an Audit Supervisor with Global Markets experience in Trading and Hedging to direct the auditing process, ensuring that financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free. The Audit Supervisor must be meticulous and analytical, possessing deep knowledge of auditing practices, strong organizational skills, as well as expertise in risk management and compliance. This is a Hybrid role, requiring three office days weekly and two remote work days. Candidates must reside in the New York, NY metro area, as no relocation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the auditing process
• Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors
• Review team members' work for accuracy and compliance
• Perform effective risk and control assessments
• Complete audits on time and submit reports
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
• Coordinate periodical audits

Requirements

• Proven experience as an auditor with Global Markets experience in trade surveillance and risk supervision
• 4 years of Audit Supervisor experience in compliance, controls, risk with specific experience with Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities trading desk asset classes
• Risk-based audit experience
• In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices/ strong SOX, P&L, and risk management knowledge
• Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Integrity and reliability
• BSc/BA in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• CPA preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the US - No Sponsorships
• Proficient in SQL, SAS, Excel and Access
