About the position

The Auditor III position at Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) is a key role within the Audits department, focusing on healthcare performance measure auditing. This position involves leading various auditing and performance measurement projects, ensuring quality and compliance in healthcare delivery. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a major member of HSAG's Audits department within DSAA.
  • Lead auditor for all performance measure validation audits.
  • Manage multiple client contracts and supplemental HEDIS audit operations with limited supervision.
  • Act as a liaison between management personnel and staff, transmitting decisions and information.
  • Lead project management tasks, including communication with project partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize project documents on SharePoint and HSAG's networks.
  • Prepare project deliverables and lead documentation submissions.
  • Develop and adhere to project timelines and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Independently prepare and type deliverables, reports, and project documents.
  • Conduct research on clinical topics as assigned and participate in healthcare educational presentations.
  • Assist in Internal Quality Control monitoring and present issues with recommended solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least five years of work experience in healthcare and a minimum of seven years of work experience overall.
  • At least four years of auditing experience and two years as a lead auditor, with two years in HEDIS auditing and/or data validation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of performance measures is required.
  • Experience writing client reports as a lead author is required.
  • Prior experience leading multiple medium-sized projects or contracts is required.
  • Experience writing responses to requests for proposals is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient English communication skills including public speaking, spelling, composition, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and work with multiple teams.
