About the position

This position is in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW., Washington, DC, in the Office of Inspector General, Office of Audit, Information Technology Audit Division, (IG/A/ITA)., at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The position is responsible for overseeing ITA contracted engagements, providing technical input to contract development and management, maintaining contract files, leading contract oversight plans, reviewing deliverables, and providing training to build in-house capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical input to ITA and other OAI&E teams and CO in contract development and management.
  • Maintains contract files in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Agency, and USAID OIG policies and procedures.
  • Leads the development and execution of a contract oversight plan.
  • Responsible for reviewing IPA-prepared deliverables.
  • Provides on-the-job and formal training to ITA and other OAI&E teams.

Requirements

  • United States Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Eligible candidates must possess a COR Level 2 certification or above.
  • Basic Requirements: A degree in accounting or a related field with 24 semester hours in accounting, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Specialized Experience: GS-12 requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, and GS-13 requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
