About the position

The Auditor position involves conducting various types of audits, including financial, compliance, and internal audits, to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards. The role requires a high level of professionalism and integrity, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and evaluating internal controls. The Auditor will prepare detailed reports and present findings to management, while also managing multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, internal processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
• Evaluate and test internal controls to identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
• Conduct sensitive investigations with confidentiality, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop audit plans, organize and prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within set deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Prepare clear and detailed audit reports, presenting findings, observations, and recommendations to management.
• Perform audits on subcontractor and supplier sites, including both domestic and international locations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of audit experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant job-related experience.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Audit Command Language (ACL) software is preferred.
• Experience with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) standards and protocols is highly desirable.
