About the position

The Auditorium & Conference Center Technical Lead is responsible for supporting event and production spaces for a multi-channel retailer client. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting technical aspects of the client's production facilities, ensuring operational readiness, and training personnel to enhance their technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, advise, operate, and troubleshoot all aspects of the client's event and production spaces.
• Support operations and personnel overseeing technical support of production facilities and control rooms.
• Partner with client engineering team for maintenance and operational readiness of event spaces.
• Assist in training and development of personnel for effective performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in live event production, event coordination, broadcast, audio/visual and video production, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events.
• Experience in database and scheduling management.
• Video engineering and strategic technical management experience.
• Experience supporting control room equipment including video switchers, audio consoles, robotic cameras, and video playback software.
• Understanding of signal flow in a digital broadcast environment.
• Experience working with LAN/WAN networking and switches.
• Skills in traditional television broadcast and IT equipment installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of virtual production and meeting platforms.
