About the position
As a Product Designer at Aumni, you will play a crucial role in the development of our new Company KPI product, focusing on enhancing venture portfolio management through intuitive design. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that customer needs are effectively met through innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Convey and articulate discovery insights and design decisions to other Product Designers and squad members.
- Co-own the gathering, analysis, interpretation, documentation, and representation of customer behavior and sentiment with a product manager.
- Conceive and conduct experiments using quantitative and qualitative methods to test hypotheses and solutions to customer problems.
- Produce high-quality visuals that align with best practices, aesthetics, the design system, and the Aumni brand.
- Embody an iterative approach to solving customer problems, designing shippable, observable parts that create value and generate learning.
- Create experiences that positively impact customer behavior and company objectives in measurable ways.
- Provide constructive feedback to other designers during design critique sessions.
Requirements
- 3 years of Product/UX Design experience.
- Professional product design experience in web application design, demonstrated via a portfolio.
- Proficiency with Figma and design systems, including associated best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in conveying user insights and design rationale.
- Experience in performing exploratory user research, including user/stakeholder interviews and quantitative data gathering.
- Some proficiency in employing quantitative and qualitative methods to test hypotheses and solutions.
- Considerable knowledge of design best practices and aesthetics.
- Experience in iteratively creating products that positively impact customers and the business.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing Fintech products.
- Familiarity with the private market and venture capital industry.
- Understanding of how companies document, organize, and report on KPIs.
- Experience designing data visualizations for financial charting and trends.
- Experience designing web form interfaces with a focus on optimizing data collection accuracy.
