Responsibilities

• Stocks shelves and refills displays.
• Loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks.
• Conditions shelves and products.
• Learns and applies product knowledge, ensuring compliance with rotation dates and shelf information.
• Keeps department clean and well-organized, including back room and shelves.
• Applies personal discipline to ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for food safety and sanitation.
• Works efficiently with a team attitude and maintains productivity standards.
• Takes constructive feedback well and applies learning to future tasks.
• May coach or train other Stockers.
• Operates with a team mindset and builds relationships across departments.
• Learns and models customer service and hospitality with customers and store partners.
• Assists customers in locating products and answering product questions.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Experience in stocking and customer service preferred.
• Experience in a physically demanding job is a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow SOPs related to emergency procedures and proper stocking.
• Strong communication skills, including reading and writing.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Customer service skills and a service-oriented mentality.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
• Ability to think on your feet and work with agility.
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet nightly goals.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
