About the position

The Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving product sales through retail account visits and providing event support. This role involves conducting sales calls, merchandising, executing promotions, and supporting brewery events, with a focus on increasing sales across assigned territories. The position requires evening and weekend availability and reports directly to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Real Ale Brewing Company (RABC) with passion, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Increase sales across your assigned territory, focusing on both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Dedicate 60% of your time and effort to selling beer within your designated territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all retail accounts in your territory through in-person visits.
  • Personally visit classified accounts in your territory at least once per month.
  • Merchandise on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Collaborate with other RABC sales representatives within the market and across the state, as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with Distributor Sales Representatives who manage accounts in your territory.
  • Submit timely weekly recaps detailing activity and action items to your market's Sales Representative and Sales Director.
  • Allocate 40% of your time and effort to retail and event activations.
  • Work with the Sales Representative and Sales Director to leverage retail activations to boost sales at accounts.
  • Schedule and conduct samplings at off-premise retail locations and special events.
  • Plan and execute on-premise promotions that align with RABC's sales initiatives.
  • Manage your schedule efficiently to maximize the number of activations each week, ensuring multiple activations can be completed daily.
  • Arrive on time and remain until the conclusion of scheduled events.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales, customer interaction, and marketing data from all off-premise samplings.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to drive long distances regularly and have a modern functioning vehicle.
  • Available to work some weekends and evenings.
  • Reside within the Austin metro market.
  • Have a valid driver license without any alcohol related offenses.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly.
  • Must be able to travel to outlying areas, as needed, and spend nights away.
  • Must maintain current TABC server certification.
  • Support and always adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all GMP personnel and food safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to company policies while representing RABC in the market.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some college preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications; Word & Excel.
