About the position
Outlier is seeking experienced Austrian German writers to assist in training generative AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible hours and remote work, focusing on providing human feedback to improve AI outputs.
Responsibilities
- Read German text to rank responses generated by an AI model.
- Write short stories in Austrian German on given topics.
- Assess the factual accuracy of Austrian German text produced by an AI model.
Requirements
- Fluency in Austrian German.
- Experience as a professional translator.
- Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
- Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
- Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

- Higher education qualifications such as a PhD may lead to higher pay rates.
