About the position

The Authorized Manufacturing Planner (AMP) at Foxconn Corporation is responsible for managing backlog and production planning within a direct fulfillment site. This role focuses on optimizing sales order fulfillment to meet customer requirements and ensuring site performance metrics are achieved. The AMP acts as a liaison between internal teams and customers, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize sales order fulfillment to meet and exceed customer's requirements.
• Prepare production reports regarding daily commitments and lead times.
• Ensure sales orders are scheduled, packed, and shipped within target time frames.
• Maximize build plan targets on a daily basis.
• Manage backlog and achieve lead time goals.
• Analyze and interpret construction bills of material, scopes, specifications, etc.
• Collect data and publish assigned reports for internal and external management.
• Perform order scheduling, expedite, and re-commit through various system tools.
• Establish close working relationships with customers.
• Resolve issues within the business unit utilizing acquired knowledge and analytical abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
• 2 years of production control and planning experience in the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) industry.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
