About the position
The Autism Paraprofessional position at BehaviorCare involves working closely with children with autism and other developmental challenges, implementing personalized treatment plans designed by a BCBA. This role is dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of children while providing comprehensive training and support from a team of clinical supervisors and mentors.
Responsibilities
- Provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions to clients in a home-based setting
- Collect data and implement treatment plans individualized for each child
- Coordinate with other program staff to ensure program consistency
- Provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding daily activities of client
Requirements
- At least 1 year of ABA experience
- A passion for working with clients with developmental and social challenges
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback on performance
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) is a PLUS!
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills a plus but not required
