About the position

Galliant is seeking passionate Autism Behavior Technicians to provide ABA Therapy to children with Autism in both clinic and home settings. The role focuses on helping clients reach their full potential through compassionate care, reducing challenging behaviors, enhancing functional skills, and improving communication. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a commitment to professional development and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the RBT 40 hour training course within the first 2 weeks of employment
  • Work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using appropriate clinical procedures based on treatment plans
  • Support acceptance of neurodiversity and provide assent-based care
  • Display empathy and compassion for clients, families, and team members
  • Communicate effectively with and seek clinical direction from the BCBA
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and workplace data collection and documentation requirements
  • Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance
  • Maintain professional boundaries with all stakeholders
  • Attend and participate in required meetings, being on video during virtual meetings
  • Collaborate with team members and ask questions to learn
  • Build positive professional relationships with clients' families
  • Collect ongoing data on clients' performance
  • Write objective session notes including targets, progress, and areas of need
  • Communicate with families regarding their child's progress according to BCBA directions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Drivers license and reliable transportation
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to bend, scoop, and lift as required for client safety
  • Ability to transition from sitting to standing with ease
  • Professional or volunteer experience with special needs, teaching, or general childcare

Nice-to-haves

  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 8 weeks)
  • Experience in ABA therapy or working with children with Autism
