About the position
Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate and organized individuals to serve as Autistic/Emotional Support Facilitators in school settings. This role involves providing essential support to teachers and students in Autism and Emotional support classrooms, focusing on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during instructional activities
- Collect data on student progress
- Implement behavior plans as directed
- Utilize de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Promote a positive learning environment
- Supervise students across all settings
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teams
Requirements
- Associates degree or some college credits from an accredited college/university (Preferred)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred)
- Experience working with children/students
