About The Position

The Estimator at VIVE Collision is responsible for managing the full estimates and repair process after vehicle teardown, ensuring quality repairs are delivered promptly. This role emphasizes customer service and requires a strong technical background in collision repair estimates, effective communication with Body Technicians, and familiarity with insurance procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive collision repair.
• Proficiency in sales, estimating, blueprinting, and customer service.
• I-Car training is required.
• Knowledge of the CCC ONE estimating system is essential.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Multi-tasking skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with advanced estimating software and management systems.
• Familiarity with major insurance carrier procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Estimate all drive-in appointments and walk-in customers, completing repair plans.
• Conduct process reviews with customers.
• Open all files with BAR (CA) and DRP compliance, including obtaining proper authorizations.
• Check in vehicles upon customer drop-off.
• Prepare and complete paperwork for the final customer packet prior to vehicle delivery.
• Document post-repair plans and ensure compliance with OEM repair procedures.
• Provide communication regarding vehicle status updates post-repair.
• Administer total loss processes.
• Perform final quality control checks, including test drives.
• Deliver completed vehicles to customers.
