About the position

Precision Body Paint of North Hillsboro is looking for a Parts Specialist who will also assist with detailing vehicles. This role involves managing parts procurement, ensuring quality control, and supporting shop operations while maintaining a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Order all parts for vehicles while maintaining good parts profits
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with team and vendors
• Ensure preferred vendors are utilized when placing orders
• Check all parts for quality and quantity upon delivery
• Mirror match parts for correctness and organize on part cart
• Proactively follow up on any parts not received
• Ensure all returns are made in a timely manner to appropriate vendor
• Assist shop operations by detailing vehicles (washing, vacuuming, cleaning interiors) before delivery to customers
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements

• Must be good with numbers and percentages
• Organizational skills and personnel skills are a must
• Effective proactive problem-solving skills to minimize any downtime in parts procurement
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of initiative and ability to work as a team
• Display a team attitude that supports a team environment
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, stand, sit and be comfortable in a body shop environment
• Must be able to lift heavy loads of more than 25 lbs
