About the position
Dorian Ford Collision Center / Body Shop, located in the Detroit metro area, is seeking highly motivated Auto Body Repair Technicians to join our busy shop. As a family-owned and operated direct repair facility, we work closely with most major insurance companies, providing a supportive environment for our technicians. Our team is experienced and dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs, and we offer excellent support in estimating repairs and sourcing parts. The shop features a large workspace with multiple bays, ensuring that our technicians have the resources they need to succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for all phases of body repair, including welding and frame straightening, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. We expect our technicians to have their own tools and a proven track record in the collision industry. Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of body repair including welding and frame straightening.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment for repairs.
- Estimate repairs and provide parts support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
- I-CAR Certification preferred.
- ASE Certification preferred.
- Strong automotive background.
- Proven track record in the collision industry.
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Strong teamwork skills.
