About the position

The Auto Body Technician at Joe Hudson's Collision Center is responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves various repair tasks, including disassembly, reassembly, and the use of hand and power tools to ensure repairs meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete high-quality auto body repairs in the shortest time possible.
• Perform disassembly and removal of auto equipment for repair access.
• Conduct repairs using techniques such as hammering, filing, filling, grinding, welding, and sanding.
• Reassemble vehicles ensuring all repairs meet industry and company standards.
• Repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welders and spray guns.
• Follow repair protocols and maintain strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of auto body experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of high-quality repair methods.
• Ability to use all power tools required for the position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with metal pulling, roof repair, stud welding, rocker panels, and multiple panel repairs.
