About the position

We are a concrete form supplier looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to prepare 2D shop drawings for customers. The ideal candidate will utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings that meet the specifications and requirements of our clients. This role involves collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that all designs align with project requirements and standards. The AutoCAD Drafter will work closely with the project management team to ensure that designs are delivered on time and include accurate material lists. Participation in design reviews is also a key responsibility, where the drafter will provide constructive feedback aimed at improving design quality and consistency. This position is essential in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that designs meet project requirements.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure that designs are delivered on time and with accurate material lists.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and practices.
• Ability to build and design complex structures and systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately and efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with design standards and best practices.
• Ability to read and infer As Build or less than 100% Construction Drawings.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Products, mainly Outlook and Excel.
• Construction Experience preferred but not required.
