About the position

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing material handling warehouses, with expertise in incorporating automation and robotics into their plans. As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for material handling warehouses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. You will design and integrate automation systems and robotic solutions into warehouse layouts, collaborating with engineers and project managers to refine designs and resolve technical issues. Your role will also involve ensuring designs optimize space utilization and efficiency while meeting safety and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for material handling warehouses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Design and integrate automation systems and robotic solutions into warehouse layouts.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional experience with AutoCAD, focusing on material handling and warehouse design.
• Demonstrated expertise in integrating automation and robotics within warehouse environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including layout, logistics, and material flow.
• Proficiency in interpreting and creating detailed technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
