About the position

The Remote AutoCAD Drafter position at Actalent involves moving and editing drawings within AutoCAD, transferring engineering drawings into the VAULT program, and collaborating with the engineering team to compile drawings and data. The role is responsible for document control within the engineering department, including issuing documents to construction groups and managing project-related documents in Vault.

Responsibilities

• Move and edit drawings within AutoCAD.
• Transfer engineering drawings from AutoCAD into the VAULT program.
• Compile drawings and data with the engineering team.
• Manage document control for projects and the engineering department.
• Issue documents to construction groups.
• Receive and file project-related documents in Vault.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault.
• Strong document control skills.
• Ability to create 2D line drawings.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience in electrical drafting.
• Knowledge of electrical P&ID CADD.
