About the position

Foster Reeve is an architectural moulding and plaster fabrication/installation company located in Riviera Beach, FL, seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop shop drawings, work orders, and installation/coordination drawings using AutoCAD, with a focus on 2D drafting. The ideal candidate will possess strong AutoCAD skills and have a solid understanding of interior framing, drywall, and millwork assemblies. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and contractors. In addition to drafting responsibilities, the role may involve some site work, including the verification of as-built conditions and attending meetings with contractors. This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, although occasional weekend work may be necessary. The company offers a long-term opportunity for the right candidate, with potential for growth within the organization. The starting salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop shop drawings, work orders, and installation/coordination drawings using AutoCAD.
• Verify as-built conditions on-site as needed.
• Attend meetings with contractors to discuss project requirements and updates.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure clear communication and project alignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 3 years of experience using AutoCAD (Required).
• 3 years of experience in construction (Preferred).
• 3 years of experience in millwork/framing drafting (Preferred).
• Proficiency in English (Required).
• Ability to relocate to West Palm Beach, FL before starting work (Required).
