About the position

JD Woodcraft Inc, a high-end cabinetry shop located in Lakeville, MN, is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a strong background in cabinetry design and construction. The role involves using AutoCAD to create detailed drawings and specifications for cabinetry projects, as well as coordinating various aspects of project management to ensure timely and successful project completion. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to work in person at our Lakeville location.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for cabinetry projects.
• Coordinate project management duties related to assigned projects.
• Ensure all designs meet the required specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress and changes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting.
• Knowledge of cabinetry design and construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated work ethic.
