About the position
ICI Homes is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Drafter/AutoCAD Technician for their Division office in Wesley Chapel, FL. The role involves producing accurate construction documents for residential projects, maintaining master plans, and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality outputs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in residential drafting and be proficient in AutoCAD 2019.
Responsibilities
- Maintain master plans.
- Produce accurate construction documents for production and custom homes.
- Create lot-fit matrix for new residences in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Development.
- Revise customized plans as necessary to meet customer requests.
- Maintain accurate records of revised construction details.
- Facilitate sales staff in creating customized home designs within time constraints.
- Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality construction documents.
- Multitask and complete scheduled work within designated timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of residential drafting experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2019.
- Detailed oriented and methodical.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of current Florida Building Codes.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Associate's or technical degree in drafting with a focus on architecture.
