Responsibilities

• Handle low complexity claims under close supervision.
• Review assigned claims and contact the insured and other affected parties.
• Set expectations for the remainder of the claim and initiate documentation in the claim handling system.
• Complete a general coverage analysis including a review of policy coverages and provisions.
• Identify all possible policyholder benefits and create additional sub-claims if needed.
• Conduct investigations regarding the claim to determine payment eligibility and recovery potential.
• Evaluate the financial value of the loss and approve payments accordingly.
• Make referrals to other company units when necessary.
• Document and code the claim file and complete all claim closure activities.
• Handle low complexity claims in the Auto Physical Damage claims unit.

Requirements

• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.
