About the position
The Insurance Loss Control Field Representative is responsible for creating and auditing comprehensive estimates of damages for both first and third-party material damage claims in the auto or specialty lines. This role involves training, mentoring, and providing technical assistance on material damage claims, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
- Negotiate settlements and document all activities in complex files across multiple lines.
- Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
- Build relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.
Requirements
- 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience in insurance claims or related field (Preferred)
- Strong estimating fundamentals in material damage claims.

- Body Shop estimate writing experience
- Insurance claims based estimate writing experience
