About the position

This position involves performing experienced service maintenance work by operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and conducting routine automotive service and maintenance. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The hourly pay ranges from $17.88 to $19.67, with actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The role is based in the South Area/Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Operate moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine automotive service and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency duties as directed during hurricanes or major storms.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment, including a ten (10) wheel standard shift dump truck.
• Must possess or obtain a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license prior to employment and maintain it during employment.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work and withstand exposure to dirt, dust, noise, fumes, and extreme weather conditions.
