About the position

The Auto Finance Commercial Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and deepening profitable customer relationships within the automotive dealership sector. This role involves evaluating and mitigating business risks while adhering to Huntington's policies and procedures. The manager will oversee credit and monitoring of the Auto Finance portfolio, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships with automotive dealerships through outside sales activities.
• Uncover and negotiate new commercial loan business and banking product opportunities for dealer prospects.
• Collaborate with credit partners to follow credit policy and make recommendations for originating dealer commercial loans.
• Service the portfolio through dealer monitoring and financial reviews while continuously prospecting for new customers.
• Manage the portfolio by assessing market risks and general business conditions.
• Assist Product Specialists in selling and servicing various bank products as needed.
• Handle large credit exposures and complex loans, including syndications.
• Organize work and deal flow, and coach other bank colleagues as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years working with multiple automotive dealer groups.
• 5+ years of Commercial (Auto) Finance Underwriting Experience.
• 5+ years of Commercial (Auto) Sales Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree.
